What to check before buying a recruitment source template

Loomora Team / 3 min

A recruitment source template gives you a starting point for an interface and its workflows. Before buying one, inspect what is included, what runs in the demo, and what you will need to implement for production.

Follow a complete hiring workflow

Start at the public career site. Open a role, review its information, then inspect how that role appears in the recruiter workspace. Look at candidate profiles, comparison views and the settings that affect the public experience. A collection of attractive screens is less useful than a journey you can adapt.

HireIQ's hosted preview shows the actual template interface with fictional data. Explore the product and its documentation before deciding whether its structure fits your project.

Separate editable source from a managed service

HireIQ is an editable source package: a Next.js frontend, Go demo API and setup guide. It is not a hosted recruitment subscription. You are responsible for configuring, deploying and maintaining your adapted product.

That distinction affects the work after purchase. Confirm that your team can run the stack, understand the API contract and modify the screens it needs. Read the installation instructions rather than assuming every preview feature is a managed production service.

Plan production responsibilities explicitly

The demo API uses fictional sample data. Production identity and durable recruitment storage require your implementation. Live AI and payment integration are not included. Candidate information should not be introduced into a preview environment as a substitute for that work.

Review authentication, authorization, file handling, retention and recovery for your intended deployment. The template can shorten interface work, but it does not remove the decisions your application needs to make at those boundaries.

Choose on fit, not the cover image

  1. Run through the screens your users will need.
  2. Read the setup and customization guide.
  3. Check the frontend and API stack.
  4. List the production integrations you will add.
  5. Review the current license and package scope on the listing.

See the HireIQ project overview or current Gumroad listing when that scope fits. If you need help adapting a source product into your own workflow, describe the project to Loomora.
